Base Teams League Discussion Thread

Gentlemen - I have created the league. It is called the Pre-Card Base Teams League, and the PW is 'kirby'. It is a DH league, with a frenzy (no waivers) since we have drafted our teams. All undrafted FAs from undrafted base teams may be picked up at any time as long as you maintain 20 from your base teams. Any players drafted by you remain your property until opening day. It is a $100 million salary cap league and I made the penalty the graduated penalty for picking players up after the season begins. It is a 5% penalty for the first 40 some games, then it is 10% from 40(?) to game 81, then 20% from then on until the cutoff.

I am in the East with Sknsfan (Guatemala? - we may have to wait for him), PossibleJohn, and LumberCompany - so you guys may enter at any time.

The Central is IndianaNick, Cummings, Frank M, and Penngray.

The West is Cslip44, Vince, BigMahon, and Stoney18.

Let's make sure we do this in the proper order - do not jump the gun.

Penngray replied to an e-mail I sent, letting him know the league was ready. Unfortunately, circumstances are that he has to take a break right now from the game. :( I guess we need to look for a replacement. I don't want to post a search just yet, I'll let the commish have a say first.

I think you can choose from any team not selected: If ememory serves me well that would be KC, Pitt, LA, Wash, Det and Colo.

You can see in the thread the picks that Penn made already in the supplemental draft.

By the way to answer your question from the other thread, team name should be a combo of your teams. So Baltimore Brewers or Milwaukee Orioles.
