YIKES (AGAIN)!!! SHIFTING SANDS -- Dose #2

Postby Mr Baseball World » Wed Feb 14, 2007 4:34 pm

I have not named my sdal yet: Do I need to be careful in that interim period before game 1 that I don't have two of one letter on my team at any time? Would that moment trigger that as my sdal?

I believe that : Sisler, Foxx and Hornsby are the untouchables(plus 12 that will be left off rosters-presumably one of everyones stick picks.

I assume the other stick pick needs to be added right away and those two should never leave your roster-even in the preseason.

[quote:51b5d90c66="spicki17"]is anyone else at the point where they think this nickel rp stick pick logic is so assinine that they are wondering if there is collusion going on in the league? i mean, it makes absolutely no sense, especially to smart managers (like i would expect this group to be -- although after the mistakes in the draft and the now some these stick picks, im heavily starting to doubt the intelligence of this group), to the point where the only logic conclusion i can draw is that people are in collusion. am i alone here?[/quote:51b5d90c66]

The only collusion I am aware of is that which is designed to make me understand the evil nature of my brainchild.

i don't really understand the logic behind the .5 reliever picks either when you are giving people extra cap space which will be highly beneficial maybe not now but definately after uncle's rule. You can bury the .5 relievers to pitch 20 innings or less pretty easily. But i guess all of us have had our major issues with HAL.....

a collusion charge is assinine...and though I sought to saddle my division mates with as much salary as possible, I strongly considered a slew of rather inexpensive but useless clowns as alternatives.( I was dieing to give someone rowland office/mookie/ or possum) ive got virtually no cap room thanks to my "friends" in the stickys...but mule haas and larry gura will both see action for me, and haas could become an everyday player once unc's first phase kicks in. gura can certainly start at home. whatever "extra" cap space some owners enjoy will certainly dissappear by game 39 or whatever it is. insinuating that paco would do ANYONE a favor is almost as diabolical as uncle's rule.

OK, got up, getting ready to go to work. I see that the Central can begin to fill, but I don't see a PW anywhere. Just checked my PM. I will only be here for another 20 minutes or so, then I leave for work. 8)
