Lady and gentlemen: I've returned from the jungle and should be able to post my protected list by Sunday p.m. I'm confused by the pitching restrictions, however, and need clarification. Am I wrong assuming that the five-man rotation will include four-day starters? It would seem that's the case from the protected lists.

Yes, it will. Since the majority of the quality starting pitchers are 4 day starters (as was the style in the past), there is a good chance you will have to have at least one or two 4 day starters pitch every 5 days.

Now that all the protected player lists are in, a quick recap of rules:


For season 11:

1. 100M / DH / waivers / 10% FA drop penalty


2. Roster Requirements:

- Each Team protects up to 10 carded players prior to drafting.

- Eligibility requirements for non-carded to your franchise players: Hitters is 4 years service or 1000 AB's..... Starting Pitchers is 4 years service or 500 IP's.... Relief Pitchers only is 2 years service or 100 IP's.

- Exception Clause: You may draft TWO players who played for your franchise but does not meet the eligibility requirements.

- You must include Protected players on your AD list or they become FA's.

- You must carry at least 15 carded franchise players at all times.



3. Line Up Requirements:


- Each Team must use a [b:702002b467]STRICT[/b:702002b467] 5 man Starting Pitcher rotation. You must also carry at least 6 pitchers who can start. This covers any injury that may occur. [b:702002b467]NO STARTING PITCHER CAN GO ON LESS THAN 4 DAYS REST! [/b:702002b467]

- Each team must have at least one "4", "3", and "2" or worse rated defensive players in their everyday fielding lineups.



4. Stadium Requirements: Each team must use one of their available stadiums whose combined HR (L/R) chances total at least 12.

There's one small setting problem with the league you created, if I read things correctly: Waivers should be fixed at 10% for the season, not weighted. But it's impossible to check this out without actually joining, and I'm on the West Coast this go-round.
