On the other hand my Blanco Blanco will be fighting hard against the JeepDrivers tonight. Neither of us will be resting anybody. Its what you call Tooth & Nail. :D

not sure what happened to my team was mediocre but in the hunt all year with a 60-57 record but then the bottom fell out with 8 game losing streak starting a 15-27 stretch

All I needed to do last night was win [b:fb646825c2]1 game[/b:fb646825c2] and I virtually wrap up a p/o spot. But noooo, I had to have a meltdown and get swept to let the Hawks and others into a free-for-all tonight. Four teams within a game of each other vying for TWO spots. Two will wake up happy, two will wake up sad.

Man! I'm gonna be mad if I blow this! :cry:

Rolaids Relief - Bob Howry

Usually MVP is my toughest choice. Not this time around ... how do you decide when every RP had great numbers? Went with Howry since I think his were most impressive considering he is an R1 and had 100+ IP.

Surprise Perfomance - Eduardo Perez

Sure he played mostly against LHP, but still a SLG over .500 in this league?!? Had more RBI than guys with 2-3x the AB! Maybe I should have played him both ways. :oops:

Disappointing Performance - Orlando Palmeiro

Needed him to be at least mediocre vs. RHP. :roll:


Am a little surprised no one commented on Wagner sweeping the awards - don't know if we'll ever see a Closer win MVP, CY Young & Rolaids again in SOM except in this kind of league. ;)
