World's Worst ATG GM League

I notice that my other league starting tonight had scores posted about 30 minutes ago. This league hasn't posted...my guess is that the game engine has gone Tilt from all the X-Roll errors.

What a start! Frickin sweep. One of my ace pitchers pitches a complete game, giving up no earned runs and strikes out 11. Shit, 3-0.

I know the feeling, Rick. My two "ace" hitters, Zuvella (.274 OPS) and Veryzer (.462) go 8 for 23 with 4 dobules, and Jackie Jensen of the .300 slugging has 3 XB hits.

Weeeeeeeeeeee only 5 runs in three games, but still won 1. Guess not too bad.

Wondering when Munich will drop the guy who hit 3 homers in that series.

Keep up the good work.

I'm fairly pleased. Charlie Wagner did not pitch like a first round draft pick and damn Larry Haney hits lefties a little too well. I guess Mike Ryan's going in there. I'll just have to live with his D--3(-2)e7.

My first rounder, Matt Sinatro, who has only two hits against righties on his card (and those on a d20 roll of 1-1), managed 5 hits in 11 at bats vs. righties last night.

I think that speaks volumes about the quality of pitching he faced. :)

I'm also happy that 2 of the 5 errors my boys made were committed by pitchers. I hope that trend continues!

Damn! A sweep and a lousy 5-1 start. This ain't looking good, and I'm digging through score recaps to see what's working what ain't.

So far the Deacon Blues ain't.

But it's early, although I was hoping to have only 5 wins over the entire season instead of after two nights.

1-5start and only 14 total runs....... now that is a good start. Do not touch my karma.

I have good news, bad news, and horrible news.

The horrible - I'm 5-1, and a SP (Morehead) who has 40+ OBP chances on his card is 2-0 with an ERA under 1.

The bad news - My best/worst player Zuvella goes down for 10

The good news - A player with no SS rating will be forced to play SS

We'll see how the strategy works now.

Now stop rolling the pitchers' cards, lineup guys.
