I'll do my best to start Season V preparations this weekend.

Once we have replacements, then we can make a final decison on what exactly to do re: 1/2 squad turnover. Right now personally I am leaning towards having owners be required to releae 2 1/2 squads, and then have the normal voluntary draft where you can change another 2 1/2 squads.

With apologies... if it's at all possible, when it comes time to advertise for a replacement, perhaps you could find an eager manager willing to take over for me as well?

Explanation... my fall into winter time period will be ultra busy at work... and while I do want to continue with TSN Strato... I'll need to join more sporadically than I have in the past- which means I'll be hard-pressed to continue in any time-consuming, multiple season themes... especially "keeper" leagues. For some reason I've not enjoyed the keeper format as much as I'd have thought- it's not because I haven't won much- (heaven knows I enjoy a lot fo themes where I haven't won!)- maybe it's been the turnover in this format, or that it's not "keeper enough" compared to my face to face leagues... not really sure.

In a couple of months, I will be ending two Chrono themes and the 2nd set of 12 seasons in the Alpha theme... which is the perfect time for a clean break from long-term committed leagues. I also feel that if a new manager were to come into this keeper league, the absolute best time for that is NOW, since (a) we are about to add/drop significantly (so they can have largest hand in designing their team) and (b) a new four-season format rotation will begin. So it makes sense in a lot of ways... however I know this group of managers are a great bunch of guys, and a competitive bunch too!... and thus I sincerely feel bad that I am even stopping at this point. :(

I will definitely not leave this league hanging... so if there's no viable replacement after a given time, I would consider continuing into the next iteration, I would just prefer to avoid multiple-season commitments and at the same time get you all a replacement manager who is more interested in (and who would have more time to manage) a team in this keeper league.

I think that due to the # of owners needing replacing, and my upcoming schedule, that it might be best to start fresh in a month or so.

Unfortunately, right now I do not really have the time to spend to get this up & going, and with the split on what to do, I think it would be a lot better to start fresh with a new group of owners all committed to the same idea, rather than to try and keep patching it together every year with new owners or new ideas to keep interest going.

I do not want this to look like I am blaming any one owner - as I am not. It is simply a matter of how the situation at hand has played out over the last few months.

Obviously, current interested owners would get first dibs on a resurrected new league.

I'll mull it over during the weekend, but at the moment I definitely am leaning towards a hiatus followed by a new start.
