Some nice early tidbits from the last league:

Milt May was awarded a gold glove?!?!?!?!

My Weasels managed to win 89 despite a (-38) run differential.

Ripper Collins ought to have been the MVP, or at least the best value. Check out his season: 255hits, .357ba, .656sp, .395obp, 146runs, 39doubles, 20triples, 45homers, 175rbis, 469total bases to lead the league.

Jack Clark led the league in runs scored!

Some uncharacteristically strong seasons from Curt Flood (.341ba, 225hits), Steve Blass (2.77era), Nellie Fox (28 int.walks - led the league), Donie Bush (72errors), Johnny Evers (only 27 errors! ), inherited runners scored % leaders include the following bargains: Ben Wade, Mike Garman, Warren Brusstar, Eddie Watt, Milt Shoffner, and Doug Bair).

Cliff Heathcote did have 691 at bats (third in the league), only missed two games. Not bad for a guy with 15 game potential!
