I do not care when we frenzy.

It certainly may be a minority viewpoint but with 1400 players now in the pool and we use only 300 per league, the frenzy is far from the make or break event it used to be in ATG I and to a lesser extent in ATG II. Whether we have a week to tinker with our teams or just a few days, I will go with whatver the majority wishes to do.

Well, I'm for ditching the whole thing and starting over. I wasn't really very happy the way the draft went anyway. the next day I can frenzy is July 4th an I really don't think i want to that night. After that, I really don't know when I can.

Next week it would have to be Saturday nite for me. I turned down O.T. for tomorrow, so I could do this tonight. :cry:

This is the reason There are not more "Live Quick Drafts" it requires getting 12 people on the same page and following through. Rules were clear here, draft six players in the fast draft, load team, and frenzy all in the same night. One person doesn't follow through and eleven other managers evenings and plans are ruined. We've heard Nev's and Bill's reason for beings dissappointed, I'm sure there are others. :( :evil:

Your right Joe. Phone numbers should probably be provided as well to avoid this sort of thing happening again. I know tkl had to change his plans just so he could do this tonight and I'm sure others did as well. Between Joe's LAZBOY and this league, we have had pretty good luck getting these to work. But not this time.

I missed out on two things...

1- postponed dinner with friends out of town friends, which I did NOT want to do, but felt I had already committed to this league so I did in fact postpone with the friends

2- Other out of state friends (whom my wofe and I hadn;t seen in almost 2 years) came into town, and yet again I passed, making my wife go it without me to the outing.

And for this? It just plain s*cks.

From the moment I saw Bob's message on the thread, I thought we were in trouble- and even expressed it as a question to Bob. It was odd that someone LEAVING at 1015PM ET would say "after the fact tonight when i get back"... I would have more positively been encouraged by words such as "gotta run out real quick, but will DEFINITELY be back in time"... now THAT would have been reassuring. I beleive Bob is on west coast time, so it seems to me he planned on being back late tonight "his time", which of course is (already) well after the midnight ET deadline.

Back to that expression... "fool me twice, shame on me... and my frosties" :roll:

8) My frenzy frosties are back in the fridge- saved for another day- I'll somehow have to survive on the 5-6 that I had during the failed speed draft :)
