[quote:d16c5c42cd="TomSiebert"]Guys -- I'm in Myrtle Beach this weekend and somethings up with the internet in the condo....it drags forever. I can't draft a player without it timing out, and I've not been able to open the PM with the password. {I would put the "sad" emoticon here, but it would take forever to load.]

I will continue to try and finish my draft and get in the east, but it may not be until Monday. [sad emoticon]

Thanks for letting us know, Tom. Let's hope everyone else can get his team done by Monday and then on Monday we can zoom through the rest of the divisions after Tom submits his.

By the way, you can put the three players you selected at the bottom of your autodraft list. No one else should take them, so no worries about them not ending up on your team. (Mistakes do happen sometimes, but they've been resolved through trades in every league I've ever been part of. That said, double check the list and avoid taking any player another team has drafted.)

[quote:5a2cf86db2]The Auto-Draft is the process by which players are placed onto the 12 teams in your league based on the player lists that each team filled out. The logic is as follows:

If a player was selected by only one team, that team gets him.
If a player was selected by more than one team:
The team that ranked that player highest gets him.
If more than one team tied for ranking that player the highest:
That player is randomly awarded to one of those teams that ranked him the same.
For each team that lost out on a player:
The team receives the next highest-priced player that is the same primary position of the original player, that was not selected by any team. [/quote:5a2cf86db2]

That's from the rules on the autodraft process.

Example: If two teams both pick Pujols number one, and a third team puts Gonzalez number 25, the third team will get Gonzalez as long as it is the only team that put him on a draft list. HAL will assign the highest priced UNSELECTED first baseman as a substitute for Pujols for the team that did not get him.

Central can load

Postby TomSiebert » Sun Mar 21, 2010 1:39 pm

It took me like an hour, but I was able to finish drafting, get the password and enter. What a pain in the a$$. I hear from the people in the condo here that once spring hits and Myrtle gets crowded, the allegedly "broadband" internet pretty much becomes molasses. You get spoiled in a big city.

Anyway, the entire East is full. The Central can now blastoff.
