Well, I was gone a week and didn't miss a pick. :lol:

The good news is:

1. We have a new gracious owner
2. We are in the 27th round now
3. The new cards haven't come out yet
4. I found out my team absolutely cannot play defense!

Oh wait....scratch #4!! I assumed they couldn't field very well.....but was still dispappointed when the def ratings came out. :( :(

When everyone is back next week, I imagine we can squeak through the last couple of rounds without too much trouble. Hope everyone had a nice Christmas, Hannukah, Festivus, or other.

We just need Dan to make his last pick and finish it off. How does everyone feel about their draft? Mine I think comes down to my first round pick. Is Tulo + Fielder/Hinske going to be better than Votto + the SS I would have gotten, maybe Andrus? My guess is yes, but we'll see.

Also, what do we do about stadiums? Are we having unique ones or just whichever?

I didn't see anything on stadiums so I assumed we could pick whatever we wanted to match our team skills. Since I picked a team with no range and iron gloves, putting my team in a hitting park could be the death of me. But then again....I picked all hitting so a hitting park sounds pretty tempting.

If anyone wants to try and analyze all the team rosters and rank the teams....that would be gutsy....but cool! :wink:

Here's the first jinx of the new year. There's nothing I don't like about my team. 5-1's, including the 3 positions up the middle. Lotsa pop. Great bench. Most efficient batboy in the bigs. Wonderful organist. Best groundscrew in the business. SP's? If A. Sanchez gets his * (which I believe he will), Latos will be available.
