Yes, the season will not start for several months. On the other hand, I've only had the chance to make one pick in the last 6 days -- and who knows when the next one might roll around?

This is supposed to be fun, not annoyance. We can sure do 16 rounds if folks want that, but when the rest of us stop checking the thread like the ones who are already AWOL, then we just might have to delay that March opening, after all...

I kind of think this game will go awol before the season starts. I drafted anyway as this will help me pick players before next season. ON THE OTHER HAND I don't think that anyone rates this as a high prioity (sp) in thier life at this moment and will pick when they are ready.
I will stay to the end as I always do but if it dies I will understand

16 rounds would be good.

Don't worry, even if this draft is done months before the game comes out, all 12 of us will be ready to load our picks and AD the rest of our teams. We won't forget! :wink:

10 days went by before my next pick and I am fine with that. I would like to go 16 rounds. Have we made a decision on that?

Walker should be a 1 at 2B but from the posts I have read Strat doesn't change a players defense that much season to season. His range is in the top 5 and he only had 6 errors in 159 games all at 2B. His stats are better there than Cano at defense. I guess I will find out.

If we are done than so be it and I really enjoyed this draft as it was a big challange for me. I don't follow baseball anymore but I did watch the entire World Series for the frist time in 25 years. Man it was a good one. Larusa needed to retire as everytime they showed him after a big play it looked like he woke up from the crowd noise to see what was happening out here.

What a run by St. Louis and Freese who started his pro career in my home town with the the Emeralds. :)

can't really get a gist of we are doing 14 or 16... not enough ppl chimed in due to lack of cares.

I'd like to do 16 but only if people will continue.

we are stopping at 14.

Though, if you all want I can add in what I've done in the past.

a 15th round (with a NEW randomized order) that will take place AFTER the defensive ratings are released, but before the cards come out. So Dec/Jan time frame.

You guys up for that?
