Still dont get the adamant no votes for the unleashed set.Every year there is 1 many 2 cards that are pretty skewed(Parmalee this year)But for the most part there are still way too many omissions of players that should have a card that are left out(Perez,Ellis,DeAza come to mind)Giambi gets a card thats ok,Lawrie carded the same.Josh Johnson the 3rd highest priced SP and thats ok???Why are they carded and not the others is beyond me. :roll: :shock: If strat had a legitimate explanation as to why some get carded while others with similar cards don I wouldnt have a problem with not using the unleashed set.But they dont.2 teams have only 1 catcher on their rosters because Blanco and Sal Perez were too good to be carded in the regular set??Blanco like Giambi played the entire season in the majors but Giambi in Blanco out :shock: Makes so sense to me

Hell I even have Johnson and have heard all the arguments of "gimmick" cards affecting the outcome of a race.Also pitchers with what 50 innings always included.Is it fair that Johnson will pitch 200 innings,possibly win 20 games and a cy young award while only pitching 60 innings last season/??????

Well jeeze hawk, if you wanna play fair and bench him after 8-10 starts, I'm sure no one would complain :wink: :D

I will give it some thought :) Course with Kershaw anchoring the rotation I might have to push Johnson back a few times unless he is pitching well :D

I'm in another league that is discussing switching to unleashed, too. Somebody there suggested adding in a league rule for a minimum number of AB or IP, in order to be eligible for the draft.

I could support unleashed if we had minimums set in advance.

As far as the unleashed/leashed. (I'm holding off on voting like RANT)

I'll propose this. If someone is already on your roster (or your prospect) then they should be availalbe even if they are unleashed. But if they are a free agent then they are not draftable.

I'd prefer to keep it simple. Either unleashed or not. When we get into minimum playing time and already on a roster or not, it starts to get complicated.

All that means is guys will grab unleashed type players in the supplemental draft, (not that they don't already anyway.)

If you don't want them in, just vote no and that's that.

To me including all the cards just makes it easier, adding more rules makes it complicated.

I'd rather say no than add a bunch of artificial cut offs, cause all that will get is is someone grousing about how so and so can't be used next year because he's 1 ip or ab under the limit.

What a headache that will be, just let 'em all in or don't, lets not make it even more complicated. :roll:
