All that means is guys will grab unleashed type players in the supplemental draft, (not that they don't already anyway.)

If you don't want them in, just vote no and that's that.

To me including all the cards just makes it easier, adding more rules makes it complicated.

I'd rather say no than add a bunch of artificial cut offs, cause all that will get is is someone grousing about how so and so can't be used next year because he's 1 ip or ab under the limit.

I voted no against using unleashed set I am not against if someone wants to draft a player that has the major league experience but does not get a card in the regular set

In 1 keeper league I am in I had Perez and DeAza not get carded while another owner in my division has Giambi AND Lawrie on his team.Needless to say having to find a LF and starting C in the draft has left me at a disadvantage during the season.I am 5 games back after the first 33 games,Giambi and Lawrie are doing quite well while my 2 draftees arent putting up league avg numbers for their positions :oops: What was a bigger disadvantage for me was I had to waste 2 valuable draft picks to fill those holes before covering other areas of need.Course I have voted for the unleashed cards in all leagues the last 2 seasons after really looking at the unleashed players.Before that I just always voted no following everyone elses lead

I setup one unleashed league as commish, but only because it is a pre-card league and we never know who will have cards at the time that we draft. Other than that, I'm not wild about the idea that a guy who plays 15 or 20 games can have a major impact in an SOM league.

The more I think about the idea of using all cards -- but with minimums for all cards -- the better I like it.

For example, if 100 AB were the minimum for hitters, then the following unleashed guys in the 2011 card set would be eligible to be used:
De Aza
Perez
Blanco

At a salary of $3.38, Snyder would be the most significant standard set player who would not be eligible to be used.

Likewise, for starting pitchers, if there were a 100 IP minimum, then no unleashed pitchers would be added to the draft and only Josh Johnson would be excluded.

Those all seem like reasonable limits to me.
