Finders Keepers Keeper League

[quote:64ad8a2284="Rant"]So I think the question is guys with significant MLB experience getting drafted as prospects. We need to figure out what the cutoff point is for how many at bats or something. The way I prefer the rules to read is that the that cut off is if you've ever had a card on SOMO. Currently the rules would state that anyone who is not cardEd is considered a prospect.[/quote:64ad8a2284]

As of right now as long as you don't have a card and are signed by a MLB team you can be drafted as a prospect, even if you have had experience in the MLB, ie Yonder Alonso.

As RANT mentions above if you have been carded in the past, it would make sense however that you would not be a prospect. IE a guy who has played in the MLB but missed a season due to injury. ie Adam Wainright (if he was available)

*We should maybe simplify this for future years as it always is a question.

Unless someone is going way off the map, I don't see this being an issue atleast for hte 1st round. As Jorge Soler has not signed at this point he will be removed as an available prospect for this draft.

I'm in

FYI: This league's Auto-Draft/Frenzy time has not yet been set by the Commissioner.
- This league will not draft until the Commissioner schedules a time for the Auto-Draft/Frenzy.

Man, those were two hard picks to make in the prospect draft. A lot of talent out there, but no clear cut guys to pick in my mind. Should be interesting to see how it all unfolds.

1. Prospect Promotion,
Unanimous and pretty non-controversial.

Passes

2. Unleashed
5-5 vote currently, will not pass. I suggest we revisit later since there's such an even split among owners.

Fails

3. Weekend Clock changes
7-3 currently. As I mentioned I don't care one way or another. I'd prefer we keep it on, but the majority seem to want it off, so I'll put it over the edge and we'll turn the clock off starting next year.

Passes

You're not kiddin. I went back and forth between Cespedes and Bauer, both of whom, are reportedly lighting it up in camp, but Cepesdes is gonna be in the majors this year, and the D-backs sent Bauer down, so I wnet with the earlier arriver, if you will. Hoped Bauer would slide, but guess not
