I can't believe you remember the story about my old days playing ball. I would fill water bottles and clean the dugout for $500,000 a year! :shock:

I had to keep working and reworking my draft card to get it to the point where I can actually afford the 2 free agents. On the plus side I don't even know if I really need any of them or not as I like the way the team looks as it is which means of course they will prob go and drop 100 or more games.

I would have thought Doc would have gone with the '67 Red Sox, not only for the park but adding Yaz for LF to go with Mantle and Marris, then I figured he would have taken Hornsby as the first FA.

Almost time for me pick, do I play or pass? :lol:

I was torn about taken the Yankees at all. But my line up looks like this.

LF Cuyler
CF Mantle
RF Maris
3b - Open
SS - Kubek
2B - Hornsby
1B - Grim
C - Howard (for the first time)
DH - Hack Wilson

Pete and 4 other SP
Arroyo, Renif and 2 other relievers.
Nothing off he bench.

My prediction.... you saw it here first.....

Course with my 17 hour work days on 5 hours of sleep per night.... I may be Doufusing myself in this. :P

My pitching is fine. I might break down and grab a lefty * pitcher but not sure yet. Can't get over that I am actually going to use Rose this time though in LF and not 3rd base or DH.
