If Ray or Page2 or another manager wishes to prepare a draftables list before each draft, that's okay, I guess -- as long as it is viewed as UNOFFICIAL.
I could see where a manager might be annoyed by relying on such a list, making a bad pick, and then not finding out until 10 picks later that a re-pick was needed. If the list were official, then it would be reasonable to ask to have a re-wind of the draft clock -- and that's chaos that we do not need, as far as I can see.
The bigger issue is probably just one of having managers pay attention. No list is going to force a manager to stay engaged in the process. On the other hand, if a manager is actively involved, then such a list is not necessary.
For example, I run a 12-team retro keeper league. So far, we have drafted for the 2001 and 2002 seasons -- for which TSN/SOM publishes NO list of players, whether draftable or not. Our managers have had very few bad picks, just because they have paid attention along the way.
The same level of attention would probably be best for this league, too, right?
