That's part of the reason why after game 132 you are allowed to expand your roster to 28 players. Kind of like September call ups.

I'll try to in the future, but I've been on the road and work's been busy. This is the type of thing that is a courtesy, and normally I'm happy to do, but it's also the sort of thing that falls on the owners shoulders. "Please be aware of the game engine rules" rules are even logged in our formal rules.
