(AP) In a stunning move, NorthPole president Kaviksdad fired his entire scouting staff, by email, early Friday morning.

"It's been a consistant express train to h*ll with this bunch," fumed the frustrated NorthPole boss. "We need to get some people in here who can evaluate talent. This constant losing has to stop now!"

Since their inception, the NorthPole club has been on a rebuilding program that has not produced winning results on the ballfield. Among the picks that have underperformed for the team are starting infielders Hanley Ramirez and Ryan Zimmerman.

The NorthPole team has struggled to recover from a slide that took them from 1st to 3rd place in the West division.

hawk trades Andruw Jones,Miguel Cabrera and Brian Tallet to Cummings for Theriot,Carlos Villanueva and Nathan.
I hated giving up Cabrera but decided to make a run at the playoffs and needed an upgrade at pitching.Hopefully Villanueva and Nathan will help a struggling staff make a push at winning the division.

yep, trade confirmed. We welcome some much needed bats to protect Berkman in a barren lineup.

Coming down to the stretch run for 2007 season 1. Each division has a race to the finish......

Looks like blue and Cubit are in a close fight as well, for that first pick in the fall mini draft.... have not looked yet to see who is available... pickings seem a little thin this year.. but there are already a couple of gems there... and there are still a lot of 2007 (MLB) games to play.....

whatever direction you might be looking.. good luck to all...
