Replacement

Postby durantjerry » Fri Jun 23, 2006 7:32 am

If you are not going to get a replacement to fill the league tonight(Friday) for a Monday start, you might as well give him the weekend to post in as we are not going to start until a week from Monday regardless. The league start time is what should determine the replacement and not "day before Christmas" draft anticipation.

I have to agree here with the consensus, if we have a replacement that can join today for a Monday start then fine but if we can't then we should give Ineluki the weekend to show up.

I've posted to the mainboard looking for a replacement...

1. I mentioned that we have to know them

2. I mentioned that they have to be able to enter a team TODAY.

[quote:b35fbd0d2d]We're not too concerned about League A - because face it - they suck! If it wasn't for RiggoDrill, that league would be the USA of the World Cup. Heck sandlotshrink could smell it a mile away and got out while the getting out was good.

Anyway, I'm confident that the eventual winner of the tournament will come from League B. At the very least we're the best at posting, outposting the rest of the tournament combined - then again League C is still undergoing chest wax treatments so they're probably a little too ashamed to start their own chat thread yet.

Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are playing in the LOTO "A" league AT -

You're down in the "B" league with DC United and Kansas City...

But keep dreaming...someday you might get to "go up"

Replacement - LOTO 2006

Postby drakmann » Fri Jun 23, 2006 11:01 am

Hi Rqimbel ... I think you may want to PM one or two of the guys here that you have competed with in the past ... if they are able to give you the A-OK nod ... than they'd be able to pass along the steps to take ... DRAK

RQ is a rookie league homerun leader, which shows a lot of upside. He's got my stamp of approval based simply on the fact that he's a Yankee fan who dislikes the Mets instead of the Red Sox.

If it were up to me, dude's in. And since I am larger than life, my word is beyond contestation... or something. Anyone else have an opinion?

RG has got my vote. Not only because of his shameless tugging at my heartstrings by sending his son to the University of Maryland, that just shows plain old common sense and a man should be commended for that. He is also a very good competitor and someone that would be good for LOTO.

Robo-G is pretty cool guy. He'll kick some and take names while he's at it so I say...WELCOME 8)

Rg is not only a pretty good SOM-er...he's can make you laugh too, :P

Kidding aside, absolutely, Rg, will always be welcomed to any leagues I am in.
