trade evaluation

carpenter
1st round
4th round
to kav for
laroche
shields
1st round
i took sanchez
kav took
zimmerman and neshek (at least i think zimm was his first pcik)
carpenter and sanchez are currently doing nothing this in MLB with carp headed toward a rehab session in the minors eventually and who will probably pitch again this year. sanchez appears to be done for the year with arthoscopic surgery in his near future. advantage this year FM future KAV
laroche is a bust in Pittsburgh, zimmerman so far is playing to a lh platoon guy in WA. advantage this year push future apparantly Kav as i would rather have zimms potential than laroche.
shield and neshek are having good years with neshek being GREAT! of course you never know with these middle relievers.
so far it looks like neshek will be a 1 endurance and with his history shields may get a 2. this one is a push as well with maybe a slight nod to neskek for age. you just never know with these middle guys.
so long term i think this trade favors kav.... in the short run it favored me as i got the ring! plus getting sheilds and laroche allowed me to draft uggla and markakis who will definitly help my team next year by the looks of it.
