With John's keepers coming in, it is time for me to track Murphy down. He is not a frequent board visitor, in fact 4 of his last 5 posts have been here, the last being 12/9. So.... is anyone in another league with him?
I am going to post on the ATG forum to track him down as well. I know he plays multiple leagues, but just doesn't use the threads.

My hope is that we can get him in here in the next day or so, and start the steal round Friday. We will run it without a time limit since it is New Year's weekend. It shouldn't take all that long anyway since there's only one round and a finite pool of players.

Reminder of the steal round rules and draft order:
Team 1 can select any unprotected player to steal from any of the other 11 teams. The team that loses a player can NOT have another player chosen off their roster during this round.
Team 2 can select any unprotected player to steal from any of the remaining teams that have yet to be robbed.
And so on.... Team 12 will have only one team from which to choose a player.
When it is Team 12's turn, if for some strange reason Team 12 is the only team that has not been robbed, Team 12 gets to protect a player from their own roster. That is the only instance during the steal round where a team can protect a player from their own roster. - to clarify, Team 12 can not protect its own player if there is another team to steal from. Got it?

The draft order again is:

5. NH Primaries
6. Newark Marauditors
7. Russian Treasures
8. Garfield Orz'z

I'm going to be be out of town Fri through Sun (spending New Year's Eve with my girlfriend in Chicago). Since I'm last in the steal round, shouldn't be a big deal.

My boys are pretty territorial so I do not think it would work out too well for your team to be using my home as your home ball park. :D

I am assuming from your smile that you are not realy serious, I am sure your guys will feel neighborly about this once they have the chance to think it over, but if not and there realy is a problem I could look for alternatives. It is not a make or break issue with me.

I actually am being serious. I am pretty sure we have unique stadiums, meaning only one team can use a stadium. Bill can clear it up, but I am pretty sure that is the case.

There is no requirement for unique stadiums.
We have had two Yankee '56 each previous season. And we had either two Polo 36 or two Forbes 09 the first season.
And we have two Riverfront 75 right now for the next season.

Why are we posting our stadiums if they are not unique then? I figured the whole point in stating them would be so that others did not select them, but I had not noticed we had duplicates in the previous seasons.
