If you like military history, you probably enjoy war games. One of my all time favorites is the Battle of Alessia. Haven't played in several years now, because I have no place to set the game up and leave it. But my friends and I used to have some epic games with that particular campaign. :)

Huge wargamr in my younger days. That also is one of my favorite games. This got brought up before so I went down in the basement and found my old copy of C@A and it was pretty beat up. My wife found an almost new copy on ebay and ordered it for me. Now if I could only get her to play!

A few years ago, when we were vacationing at the beach, my son and I brought the game with us and set it up on the indoor porch. We played all week, spending most of the daylight hours bent over the board. He finally defeated me (he had the Gauls) after upteen tries. He still talks about that vacation as one of his favorite times. I don't think we spent two hours outside all that week. Talk about war game geeks! :)

I had a friend take me to some war gamers club one time and they had this game set up, D-Day (Avalon Hill?) which was MASSIVE! I've never seen so many small counters to a game before! Looked really cool though.

LA-Z-BOY XVII is set up. The password for Dugger, Nevdully and Jon is in the old league mail.

I also sent the password to our fearless Commissioner who has once again run a FLAWLESS draft. :D :D

Another one of my old favorites was Russian Campaign. VERY tough to win as the Germans, but when you did, you knew you had accomplished something. :)

Good teamwork Beach! I've never seen so many backups and utility players go this early! Weird draft!
