Indiana Jones League - A.L.-Only Successor to 007/Die Hard

Postby TomSiebert » Thu Sep 06, 2007 3:19 pm

Last time, Mark duplicated a stadium, and SoM powers that be fixed it. We should be able to do likewise, unless the guy who picked Flores is willing to pick one of the others....

Perhaps...

...in future drafts we should avoid the whole bad player for stadium substitution and jsut say that if you are going to draft a stadium, turn your proxies off and draft it live. It might slow things down a little toward the end, but really, could it slow them down that much more than we have been going?...

Meat, relax, I am on the East Coast and I have other pressing things to do like...I don't know...A Office of Mental Health State Audit (The guy's did great :D ) and a visit to the diabetes doctor. I am ready to load in the East and I will guess that it is the League that is set-up with one team entered? If not I will move to the Second League that was created just let me know ASAP because I am going out to take my 4 year old fishing. SGT D

Nope. I wanted Comerica which is why I took Flores. Irish needs to pick an alternate park. Also, I took Flores before he took Comerica anyways. I was weasled on two other parks by legit picks prior.

sarge, that's the right league...the rest who haven't joined yet, avoid the empty indiana jones, and join the one that has a whopping two teams in it, and waivers instead of frenzy. i'll relax when I feel somewhat comfortable this thing will be filled by tommorow at 9 and we can start on monday. the track record suggests that's iffy, and although it does little or no good, Im trying to cojole any way I can to get all 12 owners on board....

Meat, I always welcome your corresondence and cajoling....been meaning to ask you -- did you read Mark Kriegel's Namath biography from last year? Just started it, to commemorate the beginning of the football season, and it reads great....Curt, you'd probably love it too, if you haven't read it already....

haven't read it yet, used to get all that stuff for free! used to get to interview either the author or both too, but oh well. actually met him once way back in 1979 or so. bachelor's three seems like its from another planet/lifetime...i'll probably have time to go to barnes and noble, buy it, and read it by the time the league fills tonight. :P

P.S. I second Calbatross'sssssuggestion. Next time we're in a draft, turn OFF your proxies the round you pick your ballpark. Good one. :D
