Good questions. Are our keepers from this draft or from the opening day rosters of our teams?

we voted that they didn't have to be named til the end of the first season. so really couldn't they be just guys that ended the season on our roster?

I think they should be on the roster for the ENTIRE first season, but don't have to be "official" until the end of the season when the first "keep" occurs.

I don't think they need to come from this draft, but I thought I should ask.

My understanding is we select our keepers after season 1. Who we draft does not have any bearing on who our keepers have to be.
