OK,
This is my commissioner-like decision. MCC gets Navarro. We are not screwing Rant, as that is what would have happened anyway, if there had been no screw up. By the way, I don't think any individual screwed up here, it was just that the system got wonky after the first drop.
Rant is allowed another pick, if it is someone already chosen, we will give that player's owner another pick. if not we can restart draft.
HOW WE GET THERE. All of this happens on this board
NO ONE CHANGES ANYTHING ON THE DRAFT SITE.
We know that Quentin belong to JLaw, we know Slowey belongs to MCC, we do not fix it on the board. and whomever Rant chooses, we will simply declare him off limits, we will not put him on the draft site. Rant please make your pick here, not on the draft site. Once this is done we reopen draft site.
From this point on, please, NO ONE DROP, NO ONE APPROVE DROPS, NO ONE TRADE, NO ONE APPROVE TRADES on website.
I will communicate with Rant via PM.

I'll take Carlos Quentin and Kevin Slowey instead.
You can pick Jody Gerut and I'll send over Navarro.
FYI, my time on the boards is going to be limited to short spurts, but I'll try to check in as much as possible (merger and baby due on Nov. 2). Thanks for the PM.

This is finished, I just listed Jody Gerut as excluded, on the site, no one take him, just in case! Gerut belongs to Rant, (thanks for your gracious acceptance of this) he does not have to be picked on the site. The draft is open for business, normal picks only!

I just drafted Clayton Richard. It shows I am still up. I assume I should draft Quentin? I will wait until I get approval.

Definitely pick Quentin, since the site put Richard in Quentin's slot.

good morning,
had an issue with my round 18 pick (#413). I waited until IDANRED's clock was up and manually entered my 18th round pick of RP brandon league. the league pick is listed under round 16, which is where we had the problem with quentin yesterday. the real problem is that it still lists me with an 18 round pick.
I'm thinking the best way to handle this is to just turn off my proxies and let my round 18 pick be skipped, I will be available to watch the draft today since I'm in the office. Litangel & kaviksdad let me know if this is OK.
Update: skipping the pick could mess up the rest of my draft, I'd have to watch the draft the whole time to make sure I skip my pick each round to make up for the previous round. Another option, just to make sure that the draft continues without any more problems, is for me to draft an exlcluded player in round 18 with a drop at the end of the draft. it would put me at 31 by the end, let me know what you think.
