Well 3/3 + 1/3 = 4/6 so I still am doing alright - but yeah it would have been nice to win that series. We'll just have to fight harder on the road and win a couple of series hopefully.

Wow - it has been a long time since I've been leading a division with a losing record. Hopefully that will change soon - my losing record that is!

Hi guys, I am starting a new keeper league, great format for those who love to track players from minors to majors, etc. Please see thread below & sign up if interested - 2-3 open spots still.

Also, will be taking suggestions for ways to improve this league. I think it's gotten a little complicated & I will likely try to simplify a bit for next season, but my preference is to turn it into a real keeper-style league if you guys are up for it...

Thx,

Qk

Well Glavines start with my squad was pretty rocky - but I picked him up also to hopefully have a pool of stud LH SP to choose from next season. Nonetheless I expect him to perform a little better next time out LOL.

Won the next 2 games in extra-innings so I won the series 2 games to 1 despite being out hit in every game!

Glavine has recovered after that first rocky outing, and only allowed 2 runs in 16 IP for his next 2 starts, winning both. :)

Glavine continues to pitch well - including one game where he lost despite pitching 10 innings, due to lack of run support.

Team continues to dominate at home, and won a sweep to rebound from being swept on the road.

Hopefully I'll be able to win enough of the last 9 road games to keep my unsteady hold of first.

The most impressive stat for my squad has been the slugging perc. Over .500 sluggling in a Vet League is pretty impressive. (if I do say so myself)

Tonight is the first of the 3 remaining road series ... need to win at least 1, preferably 2 tonight against the struggling (at home) Bulldogs.

Kudos to Jeep on pretty much clinching his division!

Thanks Arryl :D

Speaking of the Bulldogs, that Manager of their team has about dropped off the face of the earth, hasn't he?!

Well I didnt get swept in either road series, so that is a plus I suppose! ;)

Hopefully I can win both of my remaining home series - as it is getting pretty tight here in the West!
