We are full and ready to draft tonight. Please remember that waivers can only be claimed for players on the non drafted teams minus the 4 players in the last round of the draft. All the players from your teams and the last round pick are protected for the entire season. You may add/drop players with your 5 protected teams and even swap out your last round pick but all of them are off limits for the rest of the league....Good luck...Bobby

Something came up in league mail... availability of the UNDRAFTED PLAYERS FROM UNDRAFTED TEAMS.
Were these guys eligible to be taken on the draftcard, or was it required to wait until the actual waiver process? In reading your rules on the thread it doesn't say explicitly, so hopefully you can clarify.
I think everyone knows/agrees that (a) every team and player drafted is OFF LIMITS all season long to everyone except the drafting manager... and (b) that the undrafted players from undrafted teams are ONLY availab le to that division/era (e.g. Houston 86 undrafted players can only go if at all to west division teams/managers)... but the question is "when" are the available free agents actually available... on draft card or starting with waivers?

Based on a quick review of rosters, here are the teams that "draft-card selected" players from unselected teams in their era:
New Era Hakers- NRyan (Hou86), GHarris (SD86), Romo (Pit79), Nicosia (pit79), Bevacqua (SD84), Kennedy (SD84)
Jacksses- Mooney (StL34), Crawford (StL34)
Cherry Hill Mid Era's- Weis (NYM69), Gaspar (NYM69)
Bobby, if you rule these were ineligible to be selected during the autodraft, then we'll somehow have to return these to the pool.
