Lottery also sets up the divisions as well?

Let me get this straight.... we all draft a C in the first round, 1B in rd 2 etc and they have to stay on a team for the season,.

no, the lottery determines the draft order and divisions but the first person each round decides what position we are drafting etc. so it might go commonly like this - CF,SS, 2B, SP,LF, 1B,RF, C, SP, 3B, DH, RP, P but it can go in any order -everyone will have a chance to be the fiorst pick at some position . Does that clear things up?

This is the draft order: sign up below with your lottery state to detrmine your draft position and divisions - typical 1,4,7,10 -East, 2,5,8,11- Central, 3,6,9,12- West.
1st round - 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12
2nd round - 5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,1,2,3,4
3rd round - 12,11,10,9,4,3,2,1,8,7,6,5
4th round - 3,4,1,2,7,8,5,6,11,12,9,10
