The Editor fired himself after it was revealed that he put the west in the east and visa versa (or is that versa visa?) in the Opening Day report. As a result the Little Red Riding Hoods (ie, the Hoods) will go down in history as the only team to lead both the west and the east in the same season (or something like that). The Editor has since re-hired himself after getting inundated with requests (2) to continue reporting progress on the league. The likelihood of daily reports is contingent upon whim, but bribes and BlueRiders wins will help. Hoods and Yo Mamas rocked last night, leading the east (not west) and central, respectively, with 5-1 records. But the Hoods have to be a little concerned at the 15 game trip to the DL of sexy Little Richie Sexson. Who's going to lead the Wave on the Hoods bench? The Padowans 4-2 record leads the west. How do they do it? A team WHIP of 0.96 helps.
Best Front Office headline: "Ruatha Weyr BlueRiders crush Gainsville Canucks54, 13-1" (failing to note that this was the only game the BlueRiders won, but who's counting?). Send in your own favorite front office or play by play quotes.
The hot scoop of the day comes via an unnamed team source that the Samurai's lineup for the first two series has been made out by geisha girls based on cuteness factor of batting stance displayed during a night at the harem. Winners of two games over the Samurai, Hoods teammates were (1) quick to congratulate the geisha girls for helping the Samurai get that one win, and (2) asked to have their own batting stance cuteness factor rated by the Cha Chas.
