... and since we have time to catch up:
Robbie!!! Good to read you posting and thanks again for the Carmen miranda hat reminder... ooooh boy that was a super fun league with Tyber90 and etdefender and yourself and stoney... I think it was the first rooks vs. pros that I remember, man 'o man that was fun. I rememeber clearly etdefender making me literally do a spit take on my old computer.
and that Carmen Miranda hat atop the Big Unit!!! priceless
You know my biggest dissapointment in Strat? Honestly.
I never got that 11 Mil Randy Johnson card. EVER. I must have put R.J. atop all my autodraft cards but I never got it. Still bummed
I'm glad to hear you've clamed down, it's always a sign of peace, and peace is a good thing to have in our hearts. In many respects I have calmed down quite a bit. Surgeries and wacked out girlfriends kinda forced me to slow down and after a a period that lasted about 8 months I found myself calm... at peace one would say.
Oh boy the stuff i went through I wouldn't wish on anyone but I am glad I went through it... in a weird way.
So... :D
About movies... you know, lately I've been watching and thoroughly enjoying some "smaller" flicks, some quite succesful and some not so, but I've been really enjoying films like Role Models and 500 days of Summer and The Hangover... I haven't seen Hot Tub Time Machine but being an 80's kid I better do.
How 'bout books anyone???
I'm in the process of reading the Girl with The Dragon Tattoo... have to say I am enjoying it, about 400 pages into it and I'm quite happy with it so far.
before that I read Nobody Move by Dennis Johnson, which I recommed quite a lot.
Also lately I've knocked Bloodsucking Fiends and Bite me (I had read You suck before) by Christopher Moore whom, I have to say, makes me laugh like a deranged strato player. Good, good stuff for those who like a good laugh.
Before that I read American Gods by Neil Gaiman, another very, very good read if anyone is into fantasy stuff.
About LeBron... yeah... I thought it was a bit too much of a circus. Funnny enough Teddy Ballgame and Dan Marino spent their entire careers with the same team... I don't know why but it's interesting that the beloved "no-champs" stayed with the same team... worth noting.
