[quote:151233b25c="DonFESQ"]It's standard for the clock to be off in round 1 and on in round 2. Bob's a bigger guy than me because I wouldn't apologize to anyone who goes more than 24 hours without checking in or claims they couldn't find where to post they were having a problem.[/quote:151233b25c]
With very few exceptions I have found Strat to be extremely collegial.
I guess this is one of those exceptions. I suppose we will have to agree to disagree.
For the record, I WAS paying attention. At 3PM of the day of the first round, I had made my pick in Rd 1 and we were up to pick #9. Then I had problems w my Internet access. Really through no fault of my own.
At 6 the next morning, a mere 15 hours later, and only nine "working" hours later (3PM-12midnight), my pick was skipped and a second pick I suppose was about to be skipped.
I understand the excitement people feel at the result of a new league. Certainly I feel the same. But I can tell you I would think long and hard before I ever skipped someone's turn early ina draft. I would make damn sure I had tried to work that out and given a little bit of time. That't just being fair.
And as to the snarky remarks about "not" knowing where to find the thread and "instructions" on how to use proxies, maybe I'll just refer to my statement about collegiality and exceptions. REally nver encountered that sort of thing here at Strat before.
There is always a first time I suppose.
