[quote:f4f2dc1437="DonFESQ"]I like the division set up based on draft order as proposed. Also, pkb's divisional suggestion would be bad either.[/quote:f4f2dc1437]

Would or wouldn;t?

Off to "tessellate" some voucher fees so I don't have to make extra sets... God I hate this portion of the job.

Visick and I are OLD friends. We both go back to the beginning of time and on top of that he saw me born. How OLD does that make him? :?

The regional divisions probably make the most sense, and it also lumps the Yankees, Red Sox, and Giants into the same division for parity sake. I'm sold. We'll determine final breakdown after the end of round 1.

It's amazing how many dominant LH hitters the Red Sox have owned over time, considering Fenway heavily favors right-handed sluggers. Should make selecting FAs interesting.

Someone please call/text/page me when it's Frank's turn.

He's a hairy, knuckle dragging neanderthal without opposable thumbs and will only be able to put an "X" next to his name.

I'll then figure out what team Frank aka. Coco wants by using several different fruits to signify the remaining teams. ie. Banana= Bkn, Grapes= CHW etc...

Question. Are The Milwaukee Braves available for Round 2? I don't see them posted or is the Mil team that is posted or the Brewers?

this is getting ugly fast

Also, seems like A-Rod is going to end up a Yankee. Can't see anyone taking Tex for I-Rod and A-Rod and a box of hammers. That 10.63 A-Rod is terrible.

Yanks look even more dominant with A-Rod and Jeter being added in VI to cover two of the Yankees weaker areas in franchise leagues past.

I would say that A-Rod + I-Rod (fond of for his work on another theme team even though he hits a nearly completely empty .300... shuts down the run though... through 66 games in a league I'm using him, opponents have attempted 11 total steals, 9 against him, succeeding 4 times... with pitchers of limited hold ability).
Add in that AZ is really two pitchers, FLA is a third baseman who can't field, TB is empty (and a crap field), and Colorado is two Larry Walkers, Todd Helton and Coors Field. Seattle is (I know from experience here) Griffey (who I'm not a fan of), E-Mart and Ichi + Kingdome or Safeco. Cal is also a fairly motley assortment of people.

I might take Texas just to keep the Yankees from having A-Rod

Yeah, like Don said, you know what you are in for when you join these franchise themes. If you fall in the bottom third of the team picks, you are almost always toast. But, they are still fun, and it will be interesting to see if Treyomo's draft setup in RDs 2-4 can make it more balanced. But, picking 11th will DEFINITELY be ugly. Glad to see I didn't hold you guys up. Shoot, I could have slept another couple of hours. 8-)
