You cannot trade players associated with your Country. Other player trades are allowed.

If someone decides to drop the player picked in Round 2 they can be picked up as well. Country designations do not apply once the frenzy starts.
Does that include or exclude players associated with your country. I want to know if i have exclusive rights to ALL the P named players in the set. I dont want anyone pilfering Felipe Paulino on me!!!

As a veteran of this league last year, this is correct.

For the DRAFT LIST, the only players you can put on there are

a. Your Country initialed players (Paulino, Peavy, Pelfrey, oh, and maybe even Pujols if you choose him)
b. Your "Cherry picked" [i:76ffe0bebd]Non-affiliated[/i:76ffe0bebd] player from Round 2. If the Y's aren't picked, you can pick Youklis. If the A's aren't picked, you can draft Abreu.
c. ANY player from ANY [i:76ffe0bebd]Non-affiliated[/i:76ffe0bebd] letter. These letters are ANY letter not picked in this first round. (The ONLY exceptions are the cherry picked players from each Non-affiliated letter (b.)

Once the Draft is run, by the way, you will notice that HAL will most probably distribute undrafted "P's" to other players as compensation picks.

Once the Frenzy begins, ANY PLAYER not already selected and in the FA bin, is open game to ANY MANAGER. Country designation or affiliation or NON-affiliation does not apply.

Artie is correct in all those assumptions. To clarify, no one can put Pujols on their draft card (except Poland Owner) because Poland is taken. If, however, the Poland owner didn't put Pujols on their draft card then he can be claimed by anybody at time of frenzy.

Another way to say it: you have exclusive rights to players whose name starts with your Country all the way to the frenzy. After the frenzy begins, all players can be claimed, regardless of affiliations. If you drop someone post frenzy after they were on your draft card, it opens the door for anyone to nab him as he will be sitting in Free Agents.
