Everyone is allowed (and encouraged) to put in proxies.

If your pick is a pure reliever, then no one can pick him ahead of you
and your proxy is effectively a pick.

But if its a starter-reliever, everyone picking in the starter round would
get priority over your proxy.

Don't forget dickey. We have seen his card already and it is pretty nice. I'm ok with going on with the draft and being allowed to draft the new guys we know about and then just make sure that we don't start the league till the cards are actually added and any additional cards are up for grabs in the auto draft. That way we don't lose momentum in our draft.
