adam, you're in my division, so can't help you too much, but id say speaker and koufax is about as good a start as you could make drafting 10th. now ive got alexander, brown AND koufax in my division. do i grab an arm, or just try to beat your guys brains in with duke and rajah.

guyz, start loading up on proxies...these picks should start going four, 5, half a round at a time if we've proxied up, not one every hour or two...

as delbert mcclinton would say "here comes the weekend, baby, whadya got?" anyhoo...as this toad hops along at a snails pace, I put in a pfister drop for approval to give people something to do while we wait. if the group's against it, fine, if not, it'll need two drop approvals. just wanted to solicit the approvals, and let everyone know if dropped and approved, pfister would still be out there. he was the last of my proxies set, and set long before I thought I'd get all those other big ticket guys in the first three rounds. let me know, it'll effect my proxies from here on out!

Almost four rounds in two days is not that bad, really. Let's try not to get bogged down, though; particularly over the weekend.

Earlier posts said that the clock would be off on weekends and the clock would be off at night. Why was I passed at midnight on a Saturday?

[quote:b7948ed8a3="agabriel"]Florida it is. And, yeah, we don't have to use the clock on the weekends, but let's keep the draft moving regardless.[/quote:b7948ed8a3]
Penn's site does not have a feature to literally turn the clock off for the weekend. The only way to accomplish this is to change the length of the clock. I did not do that. In the past, it's been a tacit understanding that people will not get skipped on the weekends. Obviously, that didn't happen in this case.

Dan can make his pick as if none of the following picks were made. If Dan decides he wants Richert, Hernandez, Alou, Roenicke, Konstanty, or Nolan, then that player will need to be dropped.
If he wants a different player, then we'll just proceed with Walldenter's pick.

The draft is paused until this is sorted out.
