Hey Fellas'

Postby ROBERTVOZZA » Mon Mar 20, 2006 3:28 pm

I am back in the East now with Jamie, TRich(2 of my biggest SOM nemesis' since the beginning) and Tyber.

Not being able to access the 06' League List for free(Haven't received my lasy 05' credit yet) with no listing on "Strato Resources" - I kept pulling my team in and out all weekend so I could access the player list to learn the players, so I could build my 2nd 06' team. I usually pick 2-4 BP's - an extreme LH Park(Several- Safeco, Dolphins, RFK), extreme RH Park(M Maid), A flat out Pitcher's Park(Petco) and a hitters Park that I like - Then I build a couple teams for the extremes before I enter any tournaments.

What a bunch of crap at CF this year - everyone is either overpriced, 1 sided, injury prone, can hit but can't field, can field but can't hit, or can't throw...I fould CF to be the most difficult to choose.

What I like are the under 1-2M Players. We are definitely going to have a 60M league in the Tourney this year. Maybe round 3.

I am thinking 80M - Round 1(48 Teams), 100M - Round 2(24 Teams) and Finals Round 60M (12 teams) All DH/ All Waivers...

1st round is set by 2005 Player Rankings - 4 -12 Team Leagues - straight AD - ANY Ballpark(80M)/20% FA penalty.

2nd Round - 2 -12 team Leagues (Based upon 6 best records from each league) Unique Stadiums with Lottery. (100M Cap).(20% FA penalty)

Round 3(Finals Round) 1 - 12 team League(Based upon the 12 overall best records from round 2) (60M Cap) - 10% FA Penalty - Unique Stadiums based upon record from 2nd round - In order(Best to last). So it pays to run up the wins in round 2.

Winner of round 3 is the 06' LOTO CHAMPION...

48 Players will be invited and will be listed on a LOTO TOUR Thread.

Then I will take another 12 or more as alternates on a 1st come, 1st served basis - also by invitation or Recommendation ONLY.

Anyone who has ever played LOTO during the past 3 yrs has an automatic bid.

Welcome to LOTO 06' - It is great to ba playing again in a new fromat with old friends. Robert(SWP)

BTW...

The listing by player rankings - is not by the top 48 players - but the 48 invitees(Basically former LOTO members or players I have played with already, or those who come highly recommended by other LOTO friends are invited.

I have stated this in the past, but will restate it here - By Invitation has nothing to do with exclusivity or snobbery in any way. Nor is it my intention to ever insult anyone left off the list - neither personally, nor due to their rankings.

LOTO evolved from playing with a group of individuals who I came to know and enjoy through lots of competition over the past 4 years. The Invitation factor is basically a filter to keep out any type of negative element imaginable - Cheaters, quitters, major crybabies, or those who insult other members to a point that crosses over people's lines of tolerance is unacceptable.

Many of us have had at least 1 bad League experience due to any of these factors. The idea is to enjoy high level competition in the company of familiar friends who respect each other...Trash talk and flat out offensive disrespect are 2 entirely different things. I think we all know the difference.

I am looking forward to this year's Tournament with more enthusiasm than ever - There are so many new great players from 05' that I believe it will lend an even higher degree of enjoyment...
