Decided - for now - to just go with A. Gonzalez and his gold glove at SS ... got to figure out what to do with the extra 3m though ... hopefully one of you guys will drop something nice by tomorrow night. ;)

I got Desi...dropped Bull at 2B...not ideal but real. Desi is a doubles machine if he stays healthy. The Vet was a frustration for me in 2001. Many playoff teams, I think only one championship. This should be an interesting season. The West Division could very well be the one to watch as everyone beats each other's heads and various limbs 30 times apiece.

Off to a good start with a 3 game sweep at home. My offense fired on all cylinders - so hopefully this is a sign of things to come all season. :)

I have two advantages in the East. Due to the fact that league took so long to fill, the Hat Company and the Hammers are at a slight disadvantage. Its a shame that this took months to fill. On the other hand, I am glad the West has a veteran corps. Fell free to bash and bruise each other up fellows.

The Hat Company owner is around somewhere - I got a decent trade proposal from him in the pre-season - just did not suit my team so I declined it.

My 18 championship teams have played in:

New Comiskey 9 times
Enron Field 5 times
Pacific Bell 4 times

I have never won at the Vet...came close a couple times...it looks like you guys have a shot at me...keep the faith!
