After Friday night I was numb. The first half of NU game was torture. If they would have lost......

Doesn't make up for Phils loss. Still extremely disappointed. That's the risk you take when goals are so high. I can't imagine what the players are feeling if I'm feeling this way.

[quote:39d20dc0e7="bigmahon"]Joe, my pitching is gonna be very good all season, especially with that defence behind it. I don't expect your ratings to capture that, but I do expect the staff to perform well.

My hitting will be middle of the road, but just good enough to hang around in the playoff hunt until the end.

As I said when the draft ended: I like this team!

Big M, I don't know that you're *that* good, but we *may* be this bad. :(

You do have a good team and I expect the ratings to show it. I haven't done anything but prelims.

Yeah Stones, hard to believe they didn't get past the Cards.

And Stoney, your $100+ million dollar QB and company are 1-4 after a loss to the Bills today. I have to say it's nice Vick is 1-4.

I love that some of the "experts" were telling people to pick Vick first overall in fantasy leagues. I got Stafford in the 9th round in a few leagues. 8-)

Phils & now Eagles. Ugh.

My fantasy team is done now also,

1st rd - J Charles - out of season
2nd rd - Steve Jackson - hurt 2nd carry of season, hasn't done anything.
3rd rd - Miles Austin - Hammy and out for a few more weeks.

Haven't one yet. Good news is that I don't have to sit and watch and see if I am going to win.

Bad news - what the hell am I going to do on Sundays?

Heck, the third highest rated QB in the NFL is probably still on waivers.... Alex Smith.

As for the NLD, we continue to stink. Verlander has an almost 8 ERA, Myers at 6 and Werth is well under the Mendoza line.

Is this team THIS bad offensively? Last in the league? Wow.

Joe, I know you're in the Bay Area, but you can't really be a believer in Alex Smith (?). And in any case, good in NFL doesn't always mean good in fantasy football. 8-)
