You guys may have noticed that it's hard to communicate with either gkhdlla or Weinberg with logical argument. Just not in their behavioral repertoires once they get escalated about something.

using the super reliever cheating method is the equivalent of somehow getting gates brown to bat 1100 times per season versus righty pitching. something the game was not intended for...

There are a minimum of 4 other relievers on a persons roster.
You have eliminated exactly 0 of them from the possibility of relieving.

You have the pricing formula?
know the exact weights being used for ABs and IPs?

This is not real life, it is a game. I see no reason why someone can't use a reliever for 300 plus innings. Besides who is to say it could not be done. Personally I think it is a poor choice, except with 4000 cards and an 80 million dollar cap there really is no poor choice if you have a plan. Overcome it and carry on.
For one to have an imagination you must only believe that the impossible is merely preposterous. Can you imagine a World with no hypothetical situations?

Charlie, you can pick 4 CFs and play one at DH- but you should have an OF eligible to play LF and one to play RF as well.
If one of them is Gates Brown, who mysteriously gets injured and Hal puts one of your CFs in LF-

If by logic you mean whatever you do or say is gospel and as long as someone is your sycophant you leave them alone and speak of what a fine player they are. Otherwise O my God, you dog them to chase them out. I REALLY don't care, I don't play that way and I am only in this for the amusement of the situation. And there is a really high ratio of that today!

saltman: just take any one of the big S9 star starters. assume 350 ip. you can easily back into exactly how many ip murray sutter slutz smith etc were priced at.
making the gates brown comparison is not the same. again, gates was priced at 350ab versus righties.

So if Murray was "priced differently" say 10m then you don't think 300+ innings from an rp is cheating?
