nlimited preseason moves. These still need to be done on penngray's site, as its the true list of who is taken and who isn't. Once the league starts, there will be lots of guys on the TSN FA wire who are actually owned. So make the drop/add request, have someone approve the transaction, then do it for real on your TSN roster (if its someone you're actually using as part of your active 25).
During the season, you will be limited to your 40 man overall roster. If you want to pull guys up to replace injured players, send guys up and down for whatever reason, go for it. But once the season starts, its limited to the 40 you own and a 25 player active roster.
The plan is to play 2 seasons per year
We would reconvene in October for a 3 round FA draft. The advantage here is that, knowing how your team did in the first season, and with a good idea of how your players looked in real-life 2005, you have all kinds of ways to tinker.
Ourschedule looks like this:
April-May- June first season. All active rosters are 25 man only, but you can use any of your 40 at any time.
July-September- dead period, except for trading, which is allowed at any time. We can all move on to our other pursuits, strato or otherwise.
October or November- 3 round FA draft, based on the standing from the first league. Any drops must be declared before the draft, and any player dropped goes into the FA pool. You can use 1, 2, 3, or none of your picks in this draft. After this draft is complete, no FA moves of any kind.
October/Nov/Dec/Jan (depending on when we start)- Our winter league. After this is finished, we add the point totals as previously mentioned, and set the divisions for the 05 game.
F[b:78b242488f]eb/ March - You must drop at least 10 players, and you can drop as many as 15. You can protect a min of 25 players and a max of 30 players. We then have a FA draft of 15 rounds. Rosters will be 40 next year.[/b:78b242488f]
Then we just repeat the process, hopefully with all of our managers still being around.
