Halama, Cintron, some other scrub, all gone. Infield bench is going to be mighty shallow, bullpen problematic after the first two studs. Prolly shoulda spent $4MM & $2.75MM, instead of $6.75MM on Reyes.

I'm not thrilled w/ my team, especially since I've read on the boards now that Helton is one of the biggest overpriced dogs in the set...Noticed he only hit .268/.385/.398 in our last league....hardly worth the price, even if he only had 4 errors. Bummer. Hopefully Willis will repeat his performance for me that he did for Al.

good point..unfortunetly, cal. had izambrano in my head as a devil ray, uggie as a tiger. guess we could spring him from a venezuelan jail at some point...
this is a fairly significant predicament. :oops: cannot arbitrarily put them back in, would be unfair advantage to whomever was up picking. I don't think making them available in waivers works either, they're both pretty good for an n-l only league.
open to suggestions, but here's a proposal...either we;
a-leave them out all season since everyone had same disadvantage
b-put urbina up as free agent after first week of games, game #21 with worst in standings getting first dibs, tiebreaker is run differential.
we could also do the same with zambrano, or put him into the pool at then end of week two, or some pre-determined, agreed upon date for both, as late as mid-season, but again, I suggest it be based on standings.
c-have them reinstated by penn and completely re-draft
d-accept my immediate resignation as commissioner, and get me one way ticket to Caracas to be Urbina's cell mate, brining along a machete and a can of gasoline for his discretionary use.
e-none of the above, someone comes up with a better solution.

I like solution b but I think both should be available after the first week
worst team would pick one or neither than 2nd worst team would pick until they are both gone
