All my proxies gone, and Charlie takes Tinker on top of it. "I pretty much have Tinker on all my teams" from another thread couldn't have had anything to do with that pick, now could it? :evil:

I want to make a pick but the $$$$ won't let me based on a 25 man roster. How should I handle this?

Looks like Nev is still hung up. My solution is to post your pick here and skip on the draft site. You'll be responsible for picking up your player in the waivers. If you don't grab him in the waivers, then you lose rights to him.

Sound good?

Actually I was planning on taking him ahead of time, there is a theme to my team can you guess? I am going to have a slightly different name for the Cardinals this time...........

Wouldn't Nev have to stay under 1.54 million anyway? Are we allowed to pick based on the idea we can drop 2? I thought the picks all had to go on the draft card no?

I screwed up by not declaring this initially. This always seems to be an issue. I was drafting based on 25, but some drafts operate on the assumption of 23, since it is more realistic. When the manager goes overboard, typically he has to declare his pick on the message boards, then during the waivers or frenzy, pick up the missed player with his first transaction. This prevents stockpiling of bench players until you're ready to grab your big stud.

And lord knows we don't want Nev to have to wait to grab his big stud... :lol:
