Yeah, but those 70's - 80's Royals Teams...

Postby ROBERTVOZZA » Wed Jun 14, 2006 9:54 pm

Were my favorite AL teams of alltime...Especially when they'd come into NY and destroy the Yankees...I was at the playoff game when Brett tied the 6-3 game 5 of the ALCS with a 3 run shot in the top of the 9th - only to witness the 1st pitch by Mark Littell to Chris Chambliss sail over the wall - giving the up to then listless and boring Yankees their 1st AL Championship since 1964...I also was at the Playoff game that Brett hit 3 consecutive HRs and drive Pinella to the warning track his 4th AB, only to lose 4-3 cuz Munson hit the monuments in left center that day...Plus countless of other games during the regular season. those Whitey Herzog/Dick Howser teams were special.

And Tom, i certainly haven't been beating your teams much lately.

I definitely had an annoying ex wife for awhile, but now we're friends again. I am a screenwriter by trade, but deliver packages, flowers and Italian food to support my family - at 53...and have seldom, if ever been a fan of Pro Soccer. At least I have never watched an entire game before...

Actually my favorite sport is naked female mud wrestling....

So have I encountered my TWIN SOUL or not?

What's my belly button for?

Okay, just couldn't think of anything to say, and I wanted to throw something out there.

I will be travelling from Thursday PM until Saturday AM and then will be on vacation with sparse ( but hopefully some) internet access all next week. If I could pick my team and enter it before I left that would be ideal but it doesn't look like it yet, so may have to do this on the road - may be delayed - just keeping people informed.

[b:c35b8f732d]We were twin souls until I heard about your favorite sport. You apparently live a more "full" life than me. My favorite sport is NFL football. Those guys do get muddy, but I don't want to see a single one of them naked. The next time you go to the Naked Female Mud Wrestling match, give me a call. Something tells me I just might like it!! 8)

[b:b094f14421]JD, clearly, your belly button only has some important purposes. I think Robert has already stated one of them. A buddy of mine can open beer bottles with his. I think the main reason god gave us belly buttons, is for Thanksgiving. After eating a big family breakfast, then a huge T-Giving dinner, pumpkin pie, ice cream, and snacking in between, you know when your full when your belly button pops out. If you eat past this point, you are putting your life in danger.

I don't believe anyone we have invited is going to have a higher rating than 4776. So I think it would be safe for you to go ahead and put together a team and open the "C" League of the Tour with that team.

Please be sure to have an understanding of at least 1st round rules...80M Cap, Advanced rules, DH, Weighted Waivers and 10% caphit on add/drop - there is no unique stadium rule for the 1st round, nor are there any divisional assignments.

The heading for the league should be: "2006 LOTO TOUR - LEAGUE C".

I just don't want anyone else entering leagues until we have determined the order of players. but since you are in the top 4 with a very high rating, I think it would be ok. Hopefully that is helpful.

BTW...Just in case anyone missed recent posts...

Postby ROBERTVOZZA » Thu Jun 15, 2006 11:35 am

The Tour is now open to ANY recommendation from the players here to fill the last 2 spots. This does not mean it is open to the general public to fill. The player must come from an already listed player's recommendation...I have exhausted my list of good friends, former LOTO players and players I have interacted with on the boards. If they have not responded by now, They may not respond at all...

So please invite good friends who are the only 2 requirements I ask: "Play hard - Get along with everyone."

That should make it simple enuf. Any help at this point in filling the last 2 spots is welcome. Thanks. I have another long day in the 115 degree heat.

Wow...No Posts...

So nobody here knows anybody else who would like to play in this Tour with this group of guys? :(

ok, I'll send out a few more PM's as soon as my wife goes to sleep...

Maybe I can coax those last 6 or 7 into reaponding...There are actually a few former LOTO players who seemingly have fallen off the flat earth the past 3 weeks...hopefully they'll climb back on, see all my messages piled up in their boxes and at least tell me they aren't playing this year.
