I like option b because it gives the team, teams that flounder early something to look forward to...but I don't want to give them an unfair corrective advantage. that's why I suggested ATLEAST 21 games, and possibly waiting until the second week to add zambrano, and the same team could not draft both. if we decide one week and 21 games is long enough to be in last and benefit from a strong rh reliever, we could also give that team the choice of starter zambrano or reliever urbina, then put the other guy up at the end of the following week. or do both after game 21.

MUST DRAFT STADIUM BY ROUND 25

Postby MEAT » Tue Jul 18, 2006 1:32 pm

another twist...looks like penn's sight only gave us 25 slots INCLUDING STADIUM. soo....our 25th player will be auto-drafted. just double check to make sure you're not drafting anyone else's player, and DO NOT put urbina or zambrano on your roster. if someone should get them by accident, they'll have to throw them back. also cross check on penn's list first before selecting player #25 so you don't inadvertantly draft an A-L player. HAL is certain to give some of us a-l players, you'll have to swap them out in waivers. you should be pretty familiar by now with what scums are still left out there....

Why not have everyone pick the same guy for round 26 then let waivers play out how the should ....random...this would also give us a fair shake at Urbina and Zambrano....if you wanted them, you could just add them as your waiver pick

I just noticed the 25 rounds thing, too

I like the idea of random waivers....

In any event, Meat and Al, I'm PT you my cell phone, so you can call me when my turn comes up tonight to join, if we get that far.....it could be tough for my brother Mark, since he's in Boston on bidness, remember...

I like choice a. Can't go wrong with it. Things could get touchy with b. Team goes 8-13 after one week. Gets Urbina and for whatever reason wins the division. How are we going to feel about that? Could be an unfair advantage.
