I would like an answer when miduar has a chance on Sutter. I thought I sent in a bid but it wasn't listed. If I didn't, then I would have liked to have had an opportunity to do so.

Joe has a valid point here. I would suggest we put a hold on the bidding for Adams, until a ruling is made on this puppy!

Okay, I haven't been as proactive as perhaps I should have, and I am checking in for the first time since Noonish, but miduar has had multiple illegal bids.

I assume his bid on Alomar was made before his opening of Big Mac and of Kiner, Therefore, these are the illegal openings.

We should also wait to hear from miduar about Sutter. (Joe, do you recall what you bid on Sutter, or do you have it in your box? I suspect Kim (litangel) would be willing to accept your explanation and help resolve this part)

as an aside, I will try to update my financial statements soon, BUT I will at least for now suggest that miduar should be very cautious and selective with all of his player choices for the remainder of the auction.

My numbers on his team at this moment are that he has won 8 players (Bob Gibson, Pete Alexander, Steve Carlton, Randy Johnson, as well as Mike Schmidt, Robbie Alomar, Duke Snider and Ryne Sandberg) and has spent $70.04 million of his $80 million total. He has a maximum bid of $1.96 million on one player, but can't average spending over $0.59 per player for the 17 players he has left to nominate. (In other words, IF he spends the $1.96 maximum on 1 player, then all of his other players must be bid on with a $0.50 bid). Regardless, the minimum opening price of 10% would apply.

(Sorry for not sending a warning out earlier, but I had thought when miduar asked for his totals earlier that he was taking these issues in mind) :oops:

I don't remember if I did bid or not. I thought I did, but I don't see it in my outbox or sentbox. Therefore, I am think I didn't unless miduar sees it in his inbox.

If I didn't bid, then I am willing to let it stay as is and move on.
