LOTO 2006 WARMUP LEAGUE...

Postby ANDREWLAITURI » Mon May 15, 2006 7:13 am

I know all about getting swept Jeep. My tour team, after being 16 games over .500, suddenly has had the wheels totally come off the wagon losing 8 straight games. :x Lastnight for my teams 0-6

It's always frustrating to see a team that is playing so well unexplicably go right into the tank!?! :?

Man it's tough to fight the urge to tinker at times like these but my track record isn't good when I tinker out of frustration. So that being said I guess I'll just see whether or not my team can weather the storm??

I am just hoping that homefield...

The last 9 games can somehow salvage this season - which I absolutely let get away from me thru the past 3 weeks. I usually check for changes - especially down the home stretch and adapt to any changes other teams make. But by the time I finally got back to take a look, the deadline had passed and all I could do was hope for the best.

I really think that the long win streak my team had after the trade with Jeep was a fluke. And my teams performance now is the rule as opposed to the exception. I am fortunate to actually still be in the running, but I don't think the WC is going to come from the east - unless 2 teams get hot and the others lose most of their games - which I don't expect to happen.

I think we all have to hope to get very hot and take the Division. Definitely an exciting finish for the East tho. GL everyone. And may the CHA CHA MAGIC somehow return.  Robert

I'd also like to tip my hat to Tyber...

For hanging in and never giving up even tho he was pretty far back there when my team was hot in midseason....Good things definitely happen to people who don't give up. Nice job, TY...Win or lose, it is definitely an achievement.

That's how i felt when I went from 15-16 games back to tying for 1st place in the last LOTO. Again, GL to everyone. should be a typical LOTO Finish - right down to the last game. R

And Chuck, remember what I said about your team when the season commenced?

Man am I ever frustrated with my teams. Both this team and my tour team seem to know how to struggle at the worst possible time.

I'm still pretty proud of this team though as they had such a huge deficit to overcome but my tour team is a different matter, flying high and leading the league for much of the season only to tank last week and struggle this week...SOOOOO FRUSTRATING! :x

I'm happy and I congrat those who will make the playoffs (and boy is that still up in the air in the East)...but,

I'm glad this league is over tonight!!

See you guys in the next LOTO where I guarantee a better performance.

The funny thing is that my team has had to go 1-5 to wind up in this
mess!

Just imagine my suprise when I clicked on my team's link and then said "Cool! My team is in 1st place! Oh wait, so is Rob...and Jamie...and T.Rich."

That being said, this is a first for me, never seen this happen this late in a season. Early on yes and even mid season but never on the last night of the league.

When I saw I was in 1st place...

Postby ROBERTVOZZA » Fri May 19, 2006 11:43 am

I knew Jamie had taken at least 2 from TR...I knew I had to be tied with somebody, but never expected it to be everybody.

Pretty wild. Go Tyber!!! Go CHA CHA's!!!

I think the only way for the East to have a WC bid is to have 2 teams swep and the other divisions teams would have to lose them all that are in the running. Interesting finale.

GL everyone. Robert

After all those early to mid season concerns about your team, it looks as tho they got it done when it really mattered. Kudos on the comeback...

Congrats andGL to Stoney, Jeff and Cummings as well... Robert
