Blanton is not a legal pick in this draft - he is like Duke, and unavailable until the main 15 round free agent draft conducted after this one.

We had the same problem in our other USKL league - which many of you are also part of. :evil:

Actually KD, we said that if anyone had a SOM card in the 2005 game then they were eligible to be drafted.

Unlike Duke, Blanton DID have a SOM card last season (he just didn't have a TSN card) and thus IS and WAS eligible to be drafted.

I actually was weighing between Gomes and Blanton.

This is how I was able to draft Burke and Bartlett in last season's draft.

I don't know what you are doing in USKL2 but according to what we have said in this league all along Blanton IS a legal pick.

That said, I hope we get our few last picks made as Cubit's lengthy disappearance sapped all the momentum we had built up.

The "rules" in this league are extremely irritating. I don't have access to the 2004 cards (or any physical cards for that matter), so how the heck would I know that Blanton was eligible? I asked this question earlier in the thread, and was told that Penngray's database on the site was all I needed. Obviously not.

IMO, the "rules" presume an equal playing field (i.e. everyone having access to the same information) which clearly does not exist. Not good.
