Hey guys, the BlueRiders are still in the hunt but I've been tiptoeing around penn's Canucks hoping he won't notice me in front of him. I don't think the Padowans or Disco Balls are through with me either. But I'll enjoy the moment of front running while it lasts!

Off topic for a moment, I play an online game called World of Warcraft and post a kind of journal about it over in the Bullpen forum. In that thread I'm offering a chance to get a free copy of the game for those interested enough to give it some play time. One of the best and worst aspects of an online game is that it is much more fun playing and learning with friends. So the only catch is those that get the free game will have to play a few rounds with me and I'll try to give you a head start on playing. We won't actually start playing until after the holidays. I'll quote the offer from the bullpen thread below and if interested you can let me know here or over on that thread or send me a PM.

PS - No, I'm not a game company employee trolling for new players. They only have about 5 million or so players already. Just thought it would be fun to introduce some new players to the game.

Is anyone having trouble with the league site this morning? It doesn't look like our league was updated from last night's games. I have two other leagues and they both updated, but not this one.

there was some sort of server maintenance Cheech, managed to see that I lost 2 of 3 and that sexy Richie didn't homer again. But he'll catch your Cota/Piazza tandem.

Managed to see that Robo broke his ten game slide, that my Bams Bams were eliminated in the semis, and that my Poets were swept. I always seem to do bad in "maintenance night".

Yea, I'd just as soon they had gotten rid of last night's results. Jaguares take two from the BlueRiders. Ouch but that team is good!

I've only got three teams going right now but they went a combined 2-7 last night. My biggest dissapointment has been a team that was 54-39, but has since lost 8 straight series and gone 13-26 over that period. Last night saw them fall to dead last in their division despite a still better than .500 record (67-65). Tough division and a complete collapse for the team.

Anyway, I see Sexson is gaining on me. From 13 to 18 HRs while Piazza has added only 4 to cota's 20 for 24. Come on, where's that next big injury to Sexy Sexson?

I was just looking over the standings and man what a season this has been so far! Only the Central has any real seperation. The East and West have only an 8 game difference between first and worst! :shock:
I have a feeling that it's gonna be a dogfight not only for the two divisions but also for the WC. Very fun league fellas! Nicely done!
