I thought that I was dead to rights from game 1. It would be just like HAL to give me the first two games, then have the Firearms sweep the next three. It would've been karmic retribution for my earlier 2007 team that went 83-79 on it's way to a championship. Oh well, I figure I'll be paid back sometime. Anyways, it was a great Semifinal, and the Finals look to be a good one too.

Hey - good luck to both teams in the Finals. It is unusual to see the two best teams make it. Should be a great series. I have to admit to rooting for the Firearms, as that would make it two teams from my division in the finals. But, this is as it should be.

And congrats to ARod for winning a squeaker of an MVP vote over Magglio and Jake Peavy for winning Cy Young. Will both of these be posted on the website (which I honestly haven't checked in a while  )

Also congrats to my own Casey Kotchman for winning the GG - the only award my squad was able to garner this year. Here's hoping for more next year (though I'm not sure the Kotchman will be around for it).

Let's enjoy the Series - and I'll see you all at the GM meetings (are they in Phoenix this year?).

I updated the website a little bit. I am open to suggestions on what else can be put on the site. I will finish up the stats tomorrow most likely and have the draft orders posted next week Monday.

I also created a new thread for our spring FA draft. We will send out official end of the season 40 man rosters very soon. Everyone will need to drop at least 10 players before we begin the draft. Once the cards are released we will give everyone about a week to decide who they would like to keep.

I traded away a draft pick so don't I only drop 9?

2) All owners must drop enough players to bring their rosters to a maximum of 30 players allowing for 10 draft picks; Owenrs can drop below 30 players, but must not have less than 25 prior to the draft.

There is between 10 and 15 rounds. Read over the rules for the Spring FA Draft. All the rules are in the first post on the first page. You are required to drop 10 players minimum no matter what.

since you traded away a pick you MUST drop 10....you have 9 picks so u have to drop those 9 players plus 1 more player because u traded one of your picks so to compinsate you have to drop a player for that pick you traded away

you actually have 15 possible picks. So you actually don't always need to drop 10 if you have 39 players you would only need to drop 9. You are required to have no more than 30 people on your roster at the beginning of the draft. By the end of the draft you can not have more than 40. The draft will continue after the 10th round for those players who decided to go below 30 players (25 is the minimum). It is a minimum of 10 rounds, and a max of 15.
