Almost Pre-Card Draft

You don't need to know that R. White would be dropped because he is my 15th Hitter? (someone might want him). I like my 1B as well Pinhead, as well as my Team in general. This should be fun, never used Petco before. SGT D

I have a question pertaining to picking guys who may or may not have cards. When you pick a guy that may Not have a card (There are plenty of guys here who have played long enough to know who may or may not have a card) you get an advantage of having to drop that player without it affecting your Cap and then getting a chance to see the price of the players and their cards and then fitting them onto your team or picking up guys who have to be dropped from other teams. I thought the Stratgey was to pick guys and try to fit them into a Cap without going over and if you did, you had to make some tough choices. I was lucky that I was able to be $11+ Million Dollars under the cap without having to drop anyone except for R. White because he was the 15th Hitter. Only my thought. SGT D

Yes, excluded players don't count towards the 3 drops & it was completely possible that I was getting this league mixed up with the Cubit league.
Sgt D - I think I answered that question earlier abt excluded players. The disadvantage of picking an excluded player is competing vs. other owners for someone to fill that roster spot in the autodraft. Also, those owners have already been penalized during the live draft for that mistake also. E.g., if I picked Medders when there were 5 other guys with cards that I would have drafted had I known he wouldn't have a card, I've now lost out on those guys if they've been picked.
If we want to we can implement the thing I did in the Cubit draft - do a non-snake supplemental 2-round draft based on order of cap status in order to reward the best cap managers, and count the exluded players as $6M (I said this above but I was getting my drafts mixed up....)
Let me know if you'd prefer to go that route....

Can someone PM me with Penn's email if you have it? Also, if you know of anyone who would be interested in taking over his team, that would be good to get backups lined up....
